Author: Update time: 2012-03-01
The 2nd International Symposium on Cold Atom Physics of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) was held at Lake Thousand Island, Zhejiang Province of China, 24-29 July 2006. This symposium is organized by Center for Cold Atom Physics∗, CAS. ISCAP is intended for discussions on cold atom physics and related atomic, molecular and optical physics and aims to boost academic exchanges and cooperations among Chinese scholars worldwide. The subject includes:
􀁺 Bose-Einstein condensation and Fermi degeneration
􀁺 Atomic optics and matter-wave interference
􀁺 Laser cooling and trapping
􀁺 Quantum coherence and Quantum optics
􀁺 Quantum information and computation
􀁺 Atomic frequency standard
􀁺 Laser spectrum and precision measurement
􀁺 Other applications of cold atom physics
􀁺 Theory and experiment of atomic, molecular and optical physics
The symposium consisted of invited talks and reports on recent progress.
