Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy and Imaging Team Held Summer Meeting in WIPM

Recently, the Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy and Imaging Team, belonging to the CAS/SAFEA International Partnership Program for Creative Research Teams, held summer meeting in Wuhan Institute of Physics and Mathematics (WIPM).

The team members Wei Guowei, Yan Honggao,Yang Daiwen and Fu Riqiang came to WIPM, discussing the way to cooperate and exchanging ideas during May to August 2010. The team members made a summarization of last year’s research works, and established the target plan for 2011 and the operating mode for the team. WIPM have awarded Foreign Famous Scholar to the four scientists.

The summer meeting is an important way to develop substantial cooperation between the team members, which will not only promote the research of magnetic resonance spectroscopy and imaging, but also construct an international communication platform for young scientists in WIPM.

The CAS/SAFEA International Partnership Program for Creative Research Teams have been jointly supported by the CAS and State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, targeting to attract excellent talents from oversea to collaborate with mainland experts. The Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy and Imaging Team has passed the evaluation conducted by the CAS and State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs and gained the financial supports in March 2010.
