By the support of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wuhan Institute of Physics and Mathematics, and with the active preparation of members of our institute committee Profess Zhen Wang, Professor Huan-Song Zhou and Professor Xiaozhou Yang, etc., "Partial Differential Equations and Related Issues International Conference" in October 2008 from 25 to 28 at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wuhan Institute of Physics and Mathematics, was successfully held. This is the first time for an international academic activity on mathematics field to be held by our institute. The conference was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the CAS Bureau of International Cooperation and the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Applied Mathematics funding.
